Several hundred dairy cows were lost in a fire in a farm building in Levanger, Norway, according the public broadcaster.
“I don’t currently have an overview of how many animals have died, but there are several hundred,” operations manager Stian Martinsen Aalberg said.
According to the police, there were around 450 cows inside the barn when it caught fire.
The police in Trøndelag reported the fire at 10.50pm.
