Norway’s population of arctic foxes is growing

The population of arctic foxes in Norway is growing and is now estimated to be 330 adult foxes, according to the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA).

Four out of five arctic fox regions have made visible progress. 64 litters, with a total of 302 pups, are almost on par with the record year 2022. Then 354 pups were born, divided into 72 litters.
