Snow warning in Norway

Two danger warnings for snow have been issued in Southern and Eastern Norway on New Year’s Eve.

In Agder, there may be 10 to 20 cm of snow, writes the Meteorological Institute.

There is a risk of rain freezing on the ground near the coast.

Further east, slightly less snow is expected, between 5 and 10 cm.

A warning has also been issued for snow drifts in the mountains in Southern Norway, due to snow and strong winds.
