Sweden lowers key interest rate to 2.25 percent

The Swedish Riksbank has lowered interest rates by 0.25 percent, down to 2.25 percent

In total, the interest rate has been lowered by 1.75 percent since May 2024, the Riksbank said in a press release.

The key interest rate in Sweden is now half as low as the Norwegian one, which is 4.5 percent.
