Finland: Inflation fell to 0.7 percent in December

Consumer prices rose by 0.7 percent in Finland in December from a year earlier, according to Statistics Finland.

Inflation slowed slightly from November, when inflation was 1.0 percent.

According to Statistics Finland, the slowdown in inflation was due, among other things, to a decrease in mortgage interest rates and electricity prices.

The biggest price increases were caused by increases in treatment fees, cigarette prices and general hospital fees.
